Simple soap was launched in 1960 and was the UK’s first ever perfume and colour free soap. Simple soap was recommended by doctors and dermatologists as being gentle on sensitive skin.

Since then the Simple brand has grown significantly, but at every stage of its development it has remained true to its original brand promise. It now comprises 140 products across the following categories - facial skincare, bath & shower, soap, handcare, anti-perspirant deodorant, derma, haircare, men’s toiletries, sun care and baby care.

Simple is growing ahead of the UK skincare market in terms of volume and value and has in excess of five million consumers.

Simple Facial Cleansing Wipes, Simple Conditioning Eye Make-Up Remover, Simple Moisturising Foaming Facial Wash and Simple Soothing Toner are all number one products in their respective categories within the facial skincare market.

Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes are the biggest selling facial skincare product in the UK retail trade – one pack is sold every 3.5 seconds.
